2nd Birthday Party

Here's the invitation that I took way too much time to make and print.

The party was March 21st at 4:00. I had it for that time that way it would be after his nap. Then he decided that he wasn't taking a nap that day. That rarely happens and I just knew he would be in a rotten mood. But, surprisingly, he wasn't. I think he may have been more talkative at the end it he would have gotten some rest. As you can see, it was a Handy Manny theme. You'd be surprised at how many people including cake shops don't know who Manny is. I mean even if you don't live in toddler world, it's Disney for goodness sake!

Here's one of his favorite gifts. I was surprised that he got right on it (still with the seat in the cord board). He never got on all the riding baby toys. He just played with the buttons to make noise. It was like he was an old pro with this. He even went backwards and forward on it. That is once we got it out of the box the next day.

We rented a space walk with an obstacle course in it. He was not afraid at all.

He now eats at this table Grammie got him. Again, it didn't take long for him to figure out how to use it. He gets on and puts his legs under and gets off with no problems. Now we just have to teach him how to use utensils.

Dr.'s appointment

I finally saw the MFM specialist on the 10th. My appointment was at 11:20 and I wasn't seen till like 1:30. Everything looked good. One of the signs they look for in Down's couldn't be done after 20 weeks. But, other than that it all went well. He cooperated very nicely. She actually got to see more than she necessary. He moved and stayed still when he was supposed to. One thing they look for is a finger moving and it did. He had urine in his bladder. Brain/skull looked as they should. She got a very good view of the spine.They looked at a lot of things and explained what they we looking at and why. I just don't remember everything. One thing not so good was my fluid was low. We all think that was because I was stuck waiting in the lobby not in taking anything for so long. We went eat at Ryan's after. I said let's go back and get them to check now...lol! She is recommending that I have ultrasounds done every 3 weeks just to monitor things. Oh, I was 24 weeks and he weighed 1lb 9oz.
